Adam Magyar photographed "Stainless" in the subways of the world's great cities with a specialized camera designed for quality control on high speed production lines. As the trains speed past his lens, it "scans" the car and its contents in ultra high resolution, but registers anything moving at a different rate of speed than the passing car as a smeared image; an "irregularity".
