Since its genesis as a scientific enterprise, photography has often been employed to grasp what we cannot otherwise perceive. Distance, planetary or subatomic; mach speed or evolutionary change comes to mind. In the panoramic series, Stainless, Magyar splices human expectation—the anxiety or comfort of arrival—with an overarching vision of our industrial ingenuity.
